We run a Dog and Puppy Day Creche, and Hydrotherapy centere.
This is how we got interested in the breed.
It all started when we were looking after a six month old Shar-Pei puppy named Brandy for a client whilst they were on holiday. When they returned they realised that they could not handle a puppy at this time. The following day after the client picked up their puppy , we got a call asking if we would like to take her, by this time we had fallen in love with her, so we said yes.
We immediately started training her as she had little training and it took a while but we got there in the end. Nearly a year on we decided to get another puppy and started looking around. We eventually found a lovely eight week old red female puppy and we named her Amber. A month later we decided to get a little friend for Amber so we bought a lovely male dog from Penny and Andrea (Shangti shar-pei, see link ) in Peacehaven who have now become our great friends.
The following year we bred Brandy (our first) for the first time. She had three girls and one boy, ( pics on the pic page) we sold two and kept two of her girls, who are now inseperable.
We train our Shar-Pei's and show them at both at local and the main dog shows. Both Brandy and one of her pups (Honey) do really well, they have both recieved best in show, and recieved plenty of rossettes.
